ii. Backward Class: 26 Posts
iii. Backward Class Muslim: 03 Posts
iv. Most Backward Class/ Denotified Community: 20 Posts
v. Scheduled Caste: 15 Posts
vi. Scheduled Caste (Arundhathiyar): 03 Posts
vii. Scheduled Tribe: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-35 for SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC, BCM and DW of all communities, 18-30 years for Others (i.e. not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC, BCM and DW of all Communities) as on 01-07-2015.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Pass in the Draughtsmanship (Civil) course under the revised syllabus introduced from July 1952, conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of labour or Certificate in Army Trade Draughtsman (Field) issued by the President, Technical Testing Board, Madras Engineering Group and Centre or Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) issued by the Craftsman Training Centre or The National Trade Certificate of Draftsman (Civil) Trade or Surveyor Trade awarded by the national council for training in vocational Trades, Government of India through Industrial Training Institute.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written examination (objective type and drawing skill) and oral test.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director of Town and Country Planning”, payable at Chennai drawn on any scheduled bank.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website www.dtcpexam.com and send their hard copy of application along with self attested copies of all certificates (including evidence for educational qualification and practical experience possessed by them) & demand draft by Post to the Director of Town and Country Planning, 4th Floor, P.T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naiker Building, 807, Anna Salai, Chennai-2 on or before 28-12-2015 by 05:45 PM.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online candidates should have a valid email id & phone number, scanned copies of photograph and signature.
2. Log on through the website www.dtcpexam.com.
3. Select the appropriate post.
4. Read the Instructions carefully & click on “Apply Online”.
5. Fill all the details & once check the application form after completion & upload scanned copy of photograph with signature.
6. Click on submit button.
7. After submission of an application an user ID and a password will be generated on the screen, he/she should note down for future use.
8. Click on the button print application form.
9. Now take two printed copies of online application for future use.
